Interview with Giorgia

  1. Where did you attend university?
    I studied at the University of Salerno in Fisciano, Italy. For three years I studied foreign languages, both English and French, and for two years linguistics and teaching.
  2. What classes do you teach here at Sant’Anna?
    I teach all levels of Italian.
  3. How do you teach your classes?
    Like the other teachers, I use a communicative style.
  4. What do you like about Sant’Anna?
    I like that I have the possibility to meet people from all over the world.
  5. Why did you want to become a teacher?
    It is a job that I have always wanted to have.
  6. What do you like about your job?
    I like getting to know many different people, while also teaching them and enriching their lives.
  7. Did you want to be a teacher when you were younger?
    No, I wanted to be an interior designer like my mother.
  8. How long have you been teaching?
    I have been teaching at Sant’Anna for one year.
  9. Why did you choose to teach Italian?
    I enjoy teaching in general, and I have always studied foreign languages so I thought that teaching my language would be an interesting experience.
