Interview with Adriana

  1. What do you do at Sant’Anna?
I have a lot of different jobs. Firstly, I am Assistant to the President, but I also help Serena with Study Abroad and for six hours a week I teach English to 3rd and 6th graders.
  2. Do you like your job? Why?
I love that I get to do so many different things. I like the people I work with, and how much a learning experience this job has been for me. I also like the location, of course.
  3. What do you like about Sant’Anna?
I like the community feel and the students. I also like how the School has found and utilized the potential for academics and internships in this area.
  4. Do you like Sorrento?
Yes, it’s beautiful! The best part is that we are close to Naples but it is still very tranquil here. I enjoy the beach as well.
  5. How long have you been working here?
Since August, so about six months.
  6. What do you like to do in Sorrento?
I like to go on hikes when the weather is nice, but if not, I like to hang out in the main square, Piazza Tasso, and go to restaurants.
  7. What advice would you give to a prospective student?
Come here. More seriously, stay with a host family if you’re comfortable doing that. It will help you feel closer to the community.
